Background: MTT assay is a colorimetric test to evaluate cell metabolic activity of living cells via reduction the 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide insoluble formazan crystals by mitochondrial activities. The tetrazolium dye thought occur NADPH-dependent oxidoreductase enzymes in cytosol. used measure cytotoxicity or cytostatic generally plant and chemical compounds toxic materials. In this study, it was aimed monitor uniformity formation at equal time intervals visualizing salts cells.Materials Methods: K562 were observe cells. seeded culture plate under sterile conditions. After adding 10 µL 5 mg/mL solution plate, incubated for 4 h 37 °C humidified environment with 5% CO2. During process, imaged 15 minute-intervals hours.Results: behavior viable non-viable against process converting crystal clearly monitored.Conclusions: Visual analysis directly from incubator image recordings showed perfect homogeneity degradation over time.
